Who we are
Leather Medic was founded in the 1980s in Ft. Myers, Florida. Our first customers were auto dealers, who hired us to repair and refinish car interiors. Our business soon expanded to include boats, RV's, aircraft, and fine leather furniture.
As our reputation grew, people from across the nation were asking us to train them in leather care. In 2002 we launched the Leather Medic franchise operation, which has since grown to a nationwide network of technicians that clean, recondition, repair, and refinish most types of leather for all types of customers.
Our technicians are among the country's finest and most skilled leather care practitioners. They can repair and refinish all types of leather furniture. They can also repair the marine vinyls found in boat interiors and the commercial leathers and vinyls found in restaurants, hospitals, airport terminals, spas, and professional offices.
Because of Leather Medic’s expertise in leather repair and refinishing, our rapidly expanding franchise network, and our outstanding reputation, 3M approached us to work with them on the creation and marketing of Scotchgard™ for leather. The result…One of a kind, revolutionary care products for leather!
Our Cleaner and a Protectant have been specially formulated to work as a system. The Cleaner will remove most everyday sources of staining, while also repairing many surface scratches. The Scotchgard™ Protectant will help keep leather looking showroom new by repelling stains that vary from grape juice and coffee, to red wine and salad dressing.
These products are available in bulk for commercial sales and application as well as in kits for retail customers.
